About This RoleThe Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules and budgets are followed, safety standards are met, and quality metrics are attained.
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include- Oversee initial planning with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders; develop and review detailed job specifications and scope of work.
- Visit active job sites daily to assess progress, collaborate with stakeholders, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate projects within logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and review initial budget estimates; communicate with subs and clients about budget progress and costs.
- Review and approve project invoices; update budgets and schedules as issues arise.
- Plan, coordinate, organize, and direct activities related to construction and maintenance of assigned structures and systems.
- Ensure safety standards are followed on site and that safety codes are met.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve problems, including work procedures and construction issues.
- Coordinate with design professionals on design options and with customers on customization during pre-sale.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Model and reinforce actions aligned with the company’s values and culture; adhere to MN standard work processes and seek improvement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to traverse a jobsite in all weather, including stairs and confined spaces as needed.
- Frequent use of a computer with standard screen requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally; exposure to typical construction site hazards.
- Office work Monday – Friday, core hours 8 AM – 5 PM.
- Regular travel between job sites and office; valid WA State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; MN listed as additional insured on vehicle insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science or construction management strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of residential construction management experience with a high-volume builder.
- Hands-on residential construction experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
Salesforce and construction scheduling software experience a plus. - Experience with Bluebeam or similar PDF editing software is a plus.
- Understanding of contracts, plans, specs, and residential building codes; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Some Spanish to read/write/speak is a plus.

Full-time position with a base salary range of $100,000 – $125,000. Home performance bonuses available and vary by performance, lot, and home factors. Individual placement within the salary range depends on experience, skills, and organizational performance.
