Contract: 6 months, W2

Location: HYBRID – Bellevue, WA

Pay Rate: Up to $42-47/hr W2 based on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter to bring storytelling magic and strategic thinking to one of the most exciting gaming brands in the industry. You’ll support the brand by crafting creative, high-impact content across multiple formats – from punchy one-liners to blog sagas, and everything in between.

Responsibilities:

• Write compelling, conversion-driven copy for marketing efforts across social, blog, email, web, and more.
• Develop headlines, slogans, and taglines that resonate with a gaming audience.
• Establish and maintain tone of voice and messaging consistency across all channels.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers to bring campaign concepts to life.
• Support video scripts, content localization, and brand storytelling initiatives.
• Help shape guidelines and style guides that scale globally.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 5+ years of copywriting experience (including 2+ in gaming or tech)
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of formats and tone versatility
• Proven ability to write for gamers – short-form, long-form, and everything in between
• Deep knowledge of gaming culture, history, and trends
• Excellent attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills

Preferred:

• Experience with data-informed content strategies
• Familiarity with CMS tools
• Experience writing for multiple genres/IP (e.g., horror, family, sports)
• Scriptwriting skills for video content
• Localization experience for global audiences
• Ability to collaborate using tools like Figma
