I'm Mitchell, one of the founders of Deposely, and I couldn't be more excited to be expanding our team to help us drive growth.

My Co-Founder, Donnie, and I launched Deposely with a handful of top-level goals in mind:

Our philosophy around building a team is centered around passion and compassion. By that, I mean we want our team to be all-in while keeping the human aspect top-of-mind. You'll find that our team is full of energy, serious but not too serious, and also understanding.

We're a growth-stage team excited about technology and the legal space.

We love what we do, because legal work is important and protects everyday people, but it's also extremely underdeveloped from a tech and design perspective, and AI and a stronger focus on interface is poised to drive meaningful change in this space.

Deposely solves one specific subsection of the work litigators do, but it's a big part: depositions. You may have seen in Suits or other shows where a lawyer will sit down in a conference room across from a witness with a camera pointed at them and ask them questions under oath—that's a deposition.

Unlike those shows, though, hours and hours of work go into preparing for, conducting, and reviewing depositions, and that's where Deposely comes in.

We save real time and money for lawyers and their clients, and we give them better tools to improve their chances of success.

While we are early stage, we already have:

And beyond just our bottom line, we also believe in increasing equitable access to justice through technology. From near day 1, we've launched several programs focused on the A2J fight, including Deposely Essentials and the Deposely Justice Initiative.

This isn't just another senior role—you will be our design anchor. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work directly with the founders and engineering team to translate complex legal workflows into intuitive, beautiful experiences.

We are looking for a true full stack designer. You need to be comfortable starting with messy problems and user research, moving into wireframes and UX logic, and finishing with pixel-perfect UI. Because we are a startup, we also value the visual storytelling side—branding, marketing assets, and motion design. And, you'll need to be able to move quickly, as we're constantly building and iterating.

• Own the design process from 0 to 1. You will take features from rough concepts to polished, developer‑ready mockups.
• Work with customers and the founding team to understand the "why." You'll simplify complex legal data and AI outputs into clear, actionable interfaces.
• Establish and maintain a scalable design system that allows our engineering team to move fast without breaking visual consistency.
• Go beyond the product. You'll lend a hand with high‑value marketing collateral, pitch decks, and brand assets to help us tell our story.
• Bring designs to life. Use prototyping tools and animation to show how the interface feels, not just how it looks.

• Have startup DNA, either having worked at a startup before or taken on core roles at larger companies
• Have 5+ years of experience and a portfolio demonstrating your work shipping complex web applications (SaaS preferred)
• Are just as comfortable mapping out a user flow in Fig Jam as you are obsessing over typography and border-radius in Figma
• Can look at a dense legal document or complex AI agent workflow and design a UI that makes it feel simple and approachable
• Can communicate clearly, articulating the "why" behind your design decisions to engineers and founders

No one likes super drawn out hiring loops, so we keep ours fairly tight with just 3 rounds over a 1‑2 week period:

• Round 1:
  Intro with the Co‑Founders to learn about your experience
• Round 2:
  Portfolio review where we'll do a deep dive into 1‑2 case studies focusing on your process
• Final round:
  Design jam/collaborative in‑person session
