Floater Teacher

Shamrock Montessori is seeking a dedicated, flexible, and nurturing Floater Teacher to join our team of educators.

As a Floater Teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting classrooms across the school. You'll assist lead and assistant teachers, help maintain a peaceful and organized environment, and build meaningful connections with children of various ages. Job duties will also include snack preparation, lunch delivery, and maintaining a clean kitchen.

• Provide support in multiple classrooms as needed (infant, toddler, and preschool)
• Help ensure the safety and well-being of all children
• Step in for staff absences or breaks
• Build relationships with children, families, and staff
• Support the Montessori approach and uphold classroom routines

• Experience working with young children (Montessori experience a plus, but not required)
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Warm, positive, and professional demeanor
• Ability to collaborate with a team and follow the lead teacher’s guidance
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet state licensing requirements (e.g., background check, health requirements)
