Elementary School Substitute Teacher - Full Time

We are hiring a full‑time substitute teacher for the school year. Join Chestnut Hill Academy schools division at Bright Horizons and help students become global citizens, problem solvers, and lifelong learners.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a talented team of teaching professionals.
- Create curriculum that focuses on individual learning goals using 21st‑century technology.
- Encourage students' love of learning and guide them through academic success.
- Collaborate with parents to meet the educational needs of their child.
- Participate in ongoing training and support for career growth.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Elementary Education or a related field; 5+ years teaching experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate required.
- Meet all federal and state requirements and maintain required credentials.
- Demonstrated knowledge of all curriculum elements and ability to implement lesson plans.
This role requires in‑person work at an elementary school including training, oversight of curriculum, and customer and client services while ensuring the safety of children and staff. Duties also include office/computer/phone work and occasional on‑call substitution. Full details are available at

CompensationThe annual starting salary is $62,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, education, certifications, and location.
