Base pay range: $58,656.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr.
We are looking for an Entry-Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and have the chance to work on projects including state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.
Responsibilities- Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff and discipline lead.
- Help design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Produce control system designs for a variety of processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Associate’s or Engineering Tech degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering. - Working knowledge of Revit software.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
- Prior experience with DDC and PLC based control systems.
- Experience with Data Center design or operations.
