Shrewsberry and Associates is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for vertical infrastructure projects in the Federal, state, and local government markets.

• Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination, and plan development of mechanical piping and air systems
• Preparing reports and studies related to mechanical systems
• Selecting, specifying, and estimating costs of mechanical equipment
• Performing load calculations and/or energy analysis
• Conducting periodic construction site inspections
• Other tasks as assigned
• Some travel will be required

• A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
• Leading mechanical design of building projects
• Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems
• Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling
• Proficiency in Revit and designing plumbing systems
• Ideal candidate has performed federal vertical infrastructure work for DoD or FHWA

Full-time position with a base salary ranging between $90,000 and $110,000 per year. Eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and PTO.
