Job Description

Civil Engineer Lead, Airside Project Lead – Bellevue, WA. Salary $140k‑$160k per year. Project Manager to lead aviation engineering projects from concept through construction, ensuring FAA compliance, stakeholder engagement, design excellence, and cost‑effective delivery.

• Lead and manage airport design projects from concept through construction, ensuring technical, quality, and regulatory standards are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with airport authorities, DOTs, municipalities, and industry partners.
• Oversee project teams, schedules, and budgets to guarantee successful execution and delivery.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers throughout the design and development process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (transportation or aviation engineering a plus).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in airside and landside airport design.
• Strong working knowledge of FAA design standards, project management practices, and client relationship management.
• Experience with proposal development, scope definition, and budget preparation preferred.
• PE licensure across multiple states (FAA design criteria familiar).
