Environmental Engineer 1

CDM Smith is looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental Services team!

• Review shop drawings, develop engineering specifications, conduct fieldwork, and create designs to meet client project requirements.
• Prepare and review remediation documents, including draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct site reviews and studies as needed to ensure projects are aligned with client and location specifications.
• Contribute to technical knowledge management through white papers, design documentation of new or special case designs and studies.
• Collaborate on conference materials like posters or presentations.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience required. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Frequency of travel contingent on specific duties.

• Basic knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design.
• Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Good verbal and written communication ability.
