Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. is seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental/Remediation Engineer for its Bellevue or Seattle, Washington offices. This is a hybrid, full‑time exempt position.

Farallon provides full‑support environmental consulting services to private‑ and public‑sector clients, including environmental due diligence, site investigation and cleanup, engineering and remediation services, stormwater management, natural resources and permitting, and mediation and litigation support. The firm is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, with additional offices in Seattle and Bellingham, Washington;
Portland and Baker City, Oregon; and Oakland and Irvine, California.
We seek a motivated Principal or talented Senior Environmental/Remediation Engineer to join our firm in the greater Seattle area. - Originate and develop new business and leverage existing client relationships.
- Work closely with clients, project teams, and regulators to lead projects through site assessment, investigation, development of cleanup strategy, construction, and attainment of closure requirements.
- Prepare and oversee feasibility study work plans and methods, system design documents and equipment sizing, bid specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Develop and review remedial cost estimates for the lifetime of a project.
- Provide technical and project management leadership to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality on a variety of complex projects.
- Manage financial performance and client relationships for multiple projects.
- Staff development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Senior and Principal level candidates will be considered for this position, with increasing responsibility for business development, financial management, and technical execution at the Principal level.
- Previous experience in consulting or similar professional services with multiple clients to understand needs and provide solutions.
- Strong engineering design experience for multiple contaminants and remedial technologies; ability to prepare and oversee feasibility pilot testing, system design documents, bid specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Experience in reviewing conceptual site models to develop costs.
