The RoleWe are seeking strong Tax Managers to join our growing team and client base. Leveraging your expertise in tax matters and client relationships, you’ll manage a national client list, deliver superior service, tackle complex tax issues, craft strategic solutions, and offer risk‑management guidance. You will also collaborate across ODC, drive mentorship and coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client portfolio, consistently delivering high‑quality service.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in the preparation, review, and timely filing of all tax forms.
- Provide tax provision preparation, review, and support services for complex engagements.
- Enhance efficiency across project initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members to contribute to professional development.
- Stay up to date with tax regulations, conduct diligent research, and consult on intricate tax matters.
- Contribute to business development and departmental efficiency enhancements.
- CPA or EA designation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of public accounting experience.
- Direct client management and interaction across multiple channels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Quick Books, CCH Axcess, Engagement, Thomson Reuters, or Ultra Tax.
- Substantial knowledge of 1040, 1041, partnerships, S‑Corps, and 1099.
- Experience with individual clients, high net‑worth individuals, trust & estates, state tax, and pensions.

LocationAt Opsahl Dawson, we’ve designed a flexible work structure that enables both teamwork and independence. This role can be fully remote or hybrid out of our Bellevue, WA office. No travel is required.

Annual base salary range for this role is $100,000–$130,000. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skill level.
