As the Head of Finance & Treasury, and a member of the leadership team in Hong Kong, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s financial strategy, strengthening treasury operations, and supporting the bank’s expansion across Greater China. Reporting directly to the CE of Hong Kong, you will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting, liquidity management, and risk mitigation, ensuring operational excellence and full regulatory compliance.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Develop and implement financial and treasury strategies aligned with the bank’s growth objectives in Hong Kong and Greater China.
• Treasury Management:
  Oversee liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, funding strategies, and FX risk mitigation.
• Financial Oversight:
  Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, optimize the balance sheet, and ensure profitability.
• Assume overall ownership of internal and external reports and ensure accurate reporting.
• Operational Excellence:
  Drive automation and optimization of finance and treasury systems and processes.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensuring adherence to national and international financial, tax and bank regulations
• Risk Management:
  
  Implement frameworks to manage financial and operational risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Build strong relationships with banking partners, investors, and regulatory bodies. Represent the bank in high-level forums.

To be the right candidate we expect you to bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in banking or financial services, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within Finance and/or Treasury. Exposure to the Hong Kong and Greater China markets is essential, along with a strong understanding of the banking industry and regulatory environment.
You hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. You demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking with sound decision-making capabilities, and possess deep expertise in accounting, liquidity management, FX risk management, treasury operations and systems, as well as financial modelling.
You have proven leadership and people management experience, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and consistently operate with high ethical standards and integrity. A strong business network within the payments industry is a plus, and you are able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating a strong understanding of cultural and business practices in Greater China
