. We’re hiring a full‑time processor who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, partners across diverse teams, and never misses an IRS deadline. If you’re a step‑ahead planner who can juggle multiple tax returns while catching every detail, you’ll be central to our client delivery—tracking due dates, moving work forward, and ensuring nothing slips.

This role requires 2‑3 days in the office per week minimum and during busy tax season time up to 5 days a week in the office.

• Track client projects and due dates, create and distribute due date lists, and ensure the system remains up to date.
• Add tax projects to the due date system as requested by professional staff.
• Process paper and electronic tax returns, including printing, assembling, creating labels, and submitting to reviewers, and monitor status.
• Create electronic transmittal letters and PDF portfolios for electronically delivered tax returns.
• Handle tax extensions, scan and submit documents to Sure Prep, and post all processing and Sure Prep fees.
• Scan and save all e‑filing forms and acknowledgments, extensions, and dockets to Box.
• Monitor and update the tax workflow tool, process client estimated tax payments and prepare payments for mailing.
• Prepare and mail out Organizers and Engagement Letters for the next tax season.
• Secondary backup for electronically filing tax returns, back up other administrative staff, and meet regularly with the Director of Client Services.
• Review and maintain Tax Processing Procedures manual and establish annual goals in line with the firm’s objective, including DEI.

Education
:
Completion of High School or a combination of education and directly related work experience. You must pass a credit check at any time to remain eligible for this position.

Experience
: 1+ years prior experience in a large office environment where there is significant focus on customer service and attention to detail.

Pay Rate Range: $28.51 per hour minimum to $42.77 per hour maximum.
