This position provides licensed financial and non-financial support to Ascend National Wealth Advisors and will serve as a resource to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Financial Advisors. Individuals in this position will focus on securities and investment advisory products, as well as fixed and variable life, health, and annuities products. The Associate Advisor will work with Financial Advisors to serve the financial and non-financial needs of clients and their families.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing business and marketing plans, prospecting, marketing, case and proposal preparation, referral generation, and community building with clients and prospects. The Associate Advisor reports to and is employed or contracted by the Lead Advisor. Thrivent Investment Management Inc. sponsors FINRA registration, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans sponsors insurance licensure.
- Securities registered (Series 7 & 66 or 6 & 63).
- WA State Life and Health insurance licensing.
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of business technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and Docu Sign, or the ability to learn.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Desire to support peers and work collaboratively.
Base salary ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives.
Additional InformationA background verification, including fingerprints, will be required as part of the hiring process, in accordance with FINRA registration requirements.
