Pay Range: $54.85 - $82.28

An Ultrasound Technologist II works with the Medical Imaging leadership and medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. Technologist II is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional exams in diagnostic medical sonography or echocardiography, including vascular ultrasound exams, with RVT or RVS advanced certification. Serves as a role model and resource within the department.

Note:

To qualify as US Tech II, technologists must actively perform vascular studies.

This position primarily provides hospital ultrasound coverage.

Per Diem / Variable Shifts

Qualifications
  • AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited ultrasound or echo program, or completion of a military or hospital-based ultrasound training program.
  • RDMS or RVS certification required, with successful completion of at least one physics registry exam and one specialty exam (e.g., Echo, OB, or abdomen). Annual renewal required.
  • RVT or RVS advanced certification required.
  • Previous hospital and vascular experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred for lead position.
