Medical Assistant – Full‑time

We are seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant to join our busy private Plastic Surgery Practice in Bellevue, WA. This is a great opportunity to grow your knowledge and to become a vital part of our team!

Hiring immediately – Experience with front‑end and back‑office operation of a medical clinic is required. The Medical Assistant assists physicians and the rest of the team in providing patient care, acts as a patient‑care coordinator and advocate, maintains clinical supplies, ensures accurate documentation, and follows OSHA/HIPAA compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
  • 2 years’ experience in a medical office (Preferred)
  • Ability to work dynamically in a team
  • Work independently and efficiently in a busy environment
  • Patient‑friendly personality
  • Interfaces well with staff, physicians, patients, and their families
Responsibilities
  • Acts as scribe and chaperone during surgical consults with the Plastic Surgeon
  • Participates in post‑operative care
  • Works directly with the Plastic Surgeon
  • Assists in all aspects of providing direct patient care
  • Charts all vital information in EMR and verifies that medication, health history, and reason for visit are documented
  • Stocks supplies and cleans exam and procedure rooms
  • Communicates with patients and directs questions to the appropriate staff member
  • Assists and takes notes in consults, injection appointments and other treatments
  • Reports test results to patients as instructed by the physician in a timely manner
  • Assists patients with online portal access
  • Assists providers with in‑clinic procedures
  • Coordinates care and diagnostic testing at other facilities as indicated by the physician
  • Assists with surgery scheduling
  • Performs front‑office tasks such as records filing, faxing, opening mail, etc.
  • Handles basic housekeeping tasks such as laundry and staff lounge upkeep
  • Completes duties as directed by supervisor
