American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in an outpatient setting.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography required
- BLS certification required
- Active WA license required if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- Proficient in 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Outpatient mammography setting performing screening and diagnostic procedures
- 4x10 hour day shifts, variable Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
- Perform both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for an outpatient population
- Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
- Travel pairs accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
- Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed prior to consideration
