Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Analyst works with a team and is engaged in the planning, organizing, conducting, implementing, and evaluating talent acquisition and related activities in the USA. The job incumbent will play a key role in supporting the recruitment process by assisting with administrative tasks, candidate sourcing, initial screening, employee onboarding, and other recruitment related activities.

T&T Supermarkets is marking over 30 years as Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced multiple new store locations in the United States. Our growth into the US offers great opportunities within our first US flagship store, opened in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington in the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and standing as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state.

We have established our regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to grow T&T Supermarket’s vendor base with American food suppliers.

You Will
  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talents. Research, negotiate, and maintain appropriate sourcing channels to reach targeted applicants.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interview schedules and logistics to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for production and posting of recruitment promotion.
  • Assist in reference check and background screenings, ensuring compliance with Company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing related to recruitment activities, including the employee database and applicant tracking systems.
  • Prepare employment contracts and related documents. Support employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing activities, including social media engagement, to enhance the Company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Assist in job fairs and career talks, both in-house and with external recruitment partners.
  • Answer recruitment related enquiries received from various channels.
  • Perform any other duties and participate in projects assigned.
You Should Have/Be
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, or related disciplines.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the retail/grocery industry.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of recruitment in USA is highly advantageous, though not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Chinese is a definite asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work efficiently in a team, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
