You will develop and optimize advanced game development and game engine technologies that drive real‑time simulation, immersive training, and critical mission planning capabilities. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and creative problem‑solving skills as you contribute to national defense initiatives while pushing the boundaries of mixed reality.

The Camera Calibration Engineer will focus on developing and refining calibration methodologies to ensure high‑precision camera parameter estimation critical for downstream applications such as 3D reconstruction and SLAM. This role involves designing calibration procedures, analyzing calibration data, troubleshooting hardware‑software interactions, and collaborating with optical and imaging teams to improve overall camera system accuracy and reliability.

• Experience with camera calibration techniques and tools (e.g., OpenCV, MATLAB)
• Strong understanding of optics and imaging systems
• Ability to analyze and interpret calibration data accurately
• Good communication skills to work across hardware and software teams

• Experience with multi‑camera systems and stereo calibration
• Knowledge of lens distortion models and correction methods
• Familiarity with automated calibration setups in manufacturing

$168,000 — $294,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full‑time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
