About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Ops Engineer to join our Dev Ops/SRE/Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions to optimize IT operations. You will apply machine learning and data analytics to monitor, detect, and resolve operational issues proactively, driving automation and improving system reliability and performance.

Location.This role is office-based at our Bellevue, Washington office.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Develop and implement AI/ML models to monitor infrastructure and application performance.
  • Integrate observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) with AI models to enable real-time insights and predictive analytics.
  • Automate anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and incident resolution workflows.
  • Collaborate with SRE, Dev Ops, and IT operations teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing pipelines.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and events to derive actionable intelligence for system improvements.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for ingesting operational data into AI models.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of AI-driven systems.
  • Stay current with trends in AIOps, machine learning, and IT automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proficient in Python, Shell, or another scripting language.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk, New Relic).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AIOps platforms (e.g., Moogsoft, Big Panda, Dynatrace, IBM Watson AIOps).
  • Understanding of MLOps best practices.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation

For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).

Compensation
