Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Network Engineer –Feature Tester
Responsibilities- As a Feature Test Engineer, work in Clientradio lab to gain familiarity with Client radio products (SW and HW) through product testing and the product acceptance process for our large customer.
- Be exposed to the latest radio products that will be rolled out in our biggest customer network.
- Validate functionality of the latest radio products and find and correct faults before rolling out network-wide. Interact with various Client organizations such as development units, customer units, and directly with customers.
- Work on automation projects to improve and accelerate the testing process. Perform integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE/5G technology into customers’ lab facilities and the first market application(s).
- Demonstrate new functionality, SW/HW capabilities. Perform proof of concept with customers for pre‑commercial products and next‑generation radio access technology equipment.
- Support Client NPI project involving integration, configuration, features and functionalities, troubleshooting, inconsistencies, and testing on the roadmap portfolio Client for BBU (baseband units) and Radios on different technologies/bands operation.
- Resolve technical issues and serve as point of contact toward the Customer Project Manager (CPM), customer, and the EU throughout the project.
- Participate in lab testing, working closely with the delivery manager and customer to define scope, resource plan, and timeline.
- Execute Test Object List (TOL).
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems in existing networks. Prepare and present reports for customer acceptance.
