Software Design Engineer

Position: Software Design Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 10 Months

• Build web and client tools to process and visualize computer vision data
• Enhance state-of-the-art computer vision research using these tools
• Verify Microsoft Pix app scenarios automatically and manually

• Strong team player, excellent communicator, passionate about Microsoft Pix or photography
• Full stack web development experience on Azure, including creating secure Azure web apps with Type Script and React
• Proficiency with Power Shell/Perl for tinkering and scripting
• Familiarity with Azure offerings, including data sanitization and backup of blobs
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality code
• Machine learning and/or mobile experience is a plus, but not required

• Experience with Microsoft toolset, web development, databases, and SDTE roles, preferably within Microsoft or similar companies
• Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but experience is prioritized
