A growing focus has been on AI agentic platforms, workflow orchestration, and data analytic dashboarding. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving tough problems and building with purpose.

Reporting to the Director, Business Technology Sales & Partners, this role will help scale our business solutions with an emphasis on security. You will design and develop customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations to meet the company’s strategic business objectives. You will work with Engineering Managers, business stakeholders, Product Owners, Program analysts, and engineers on program design, development, deployment, and support. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving and delivering high-quality solutions is essential.

Your product owner will rely on you for technical services—design and consulting to align solutions with business program goals.

Core competencies for a Staff Engineer include operating with a high degree of autonomy, technical leadership, and project ownership.

Architectural Ownership and Design: Translate business needs into well-architected, scalable, and secure architectures.

Project and Delivery Leadership: Act as a Team Lead and own deliverables from discovery to deployment, driving end-to-end lifecycle delivery.

Mentorship and Technical Bar-Setting: Mentor engineers and define high coding standards to elevate the team’s capabilities.

Cross-Functional Influence: Communicate and collaborate across Engineering Managers, stakeholders, and Product Owners, articulating benefits and risks and aligning solutions with program goals. Drive technical initiatives across BT teams and contribute to architectural standards and guilds.

Skills:

We aim to be AI-first. Ability to build agents using Agentforce, leverage open-source libraries to build agents, and proficiency with AI workflow tools. High-value skills include using Git Hub Copilot or AI workflow orchestration tools.

Strategic Influence on Technology

Roadmap:

Proactively identify opportunities and influence long-term architectural and business roadmaps.

Operating in Ambiguity: Translate broad, ambiguous business problems into solvable technical projects.

• 4+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, or equivalent
• 5+ years’ hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, Process Automation, and LWC
• Experience in architecture, design, and implementation of high-complexity projects for Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud Console, etc. Solid understanding of developing secure Salesforce solutions
• Experience with CI/CD, SfDx, Jenkins or equivalent

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
