The Global People Compliance team is a strategic center of excellence committed to safeguarding the organization's integrity and enabling sustainable growth. Role SummaryWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Global People Compliance to join our Global People Compliance Team. You will design and manage global compliance frameworks and drive high-impact special projects. You will support Zscaler’s compliance maturity and global expansion by partnering closely with HR Operations to ensure compliance requirements are successfully operationalized and scaled. Reporting to the Head of People Compliance & Extended Workforce, you'll be based in Bellevue, WA (with in-office work Wednesday through Thursday) or remote in the US and be responsible for:
- Designing and governing the global compliance architecture and policy framework, ensuring core programs (e.g., Background Checks, Contingent Workforce) are standardized, scalable, and risk-optimized
- Leading compliance strategy for organizational growth and risk management, including M&A diligence, entity expansion, and maintaining an “Audit Ready” posture (ISO, SOX) across all regions
- Partnering with HR Operations and IT to embed compliance into the employee lifecycle, serving as the functional lead for system implementations, data privacy standards, and process automation
- Driving continuous improvement and operational agility, assessing program effectiveness to identify gaps and implement scalable solutions balancing strict compliance with user experience
- 8+ years of global HR Compliance, Legal, or HR Operations experience with the ability to be strategic and tactical, executing on high-level frameworks while effectively making decisions amid ambiguity to navigate complex international/group regulatory environments
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and AI with experience leveraging technology to scale compliance and inform your roadmap
- Experience leading complex initiatives with data-driven decision-making and rigorous project management. Ability to combine metrics with change management to ensure successful business adoption.
- M&A compliance experience or experience with divestitures
- Master’s degree, JD, CCEP, or PMP certification
Base Pay Range: $147,000 - $210,000 USD
