The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer technical and business objectives. You will work closely with customers to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen and currently possesses, and has the ability to obtain, a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or higher.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
- 7+ years of consulting and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
- 7+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- Current active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- 2+ years of technology/software sales experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience architecting and operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting, and notifications.
- Knowledge of ITAR, FISMA, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
