Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Data & AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA
. Candidate must have strong expertise in data modeling and proven experience delivering big enterprise-scale data projects.
Rate Range: $44/hour to $48/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data & AI Engineer job responsibilities include:- Design and develop scalable data pipelines leveraging big data platforms and Microsoft Fabric data agents.
- Implement robust data models and propose best practices for data architecture and governance.
- Integrate AI and ML solutions using Azure AI Services to enhance analytics and business insights.
- Optimize performance and monitor systems to ensure reliability and efficiency of data workflows.
- Develop solutions using PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level big data projects, preferably in eCommerce or digital marketing domains.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering roles, preferably in eCommerce or digital marketing domains.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and ability to propose best practices for enterprise‑scale data architecture.
- Proven experience delivering big data projects using cloud platforms (Azure preferred), with proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $48.00 per hour
