We’re seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll be the hands‑on technical expert driving reliability, scalability, and performance across our distributed systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and wants to make a direct impact on AI-powered healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities- Architect and maintains scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.
- Design and implement containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Build and manage infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines using Terraform or ARM templates.
- Implement structured logging, metrics, and alerting for observability and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to align infrastructure with product needs.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and resilience.
- Lead root cause analysis and post‑incident reviews for infrastructure‑related issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory standards.
- Drive automation across the infrastructure stack to eliminate toil and accelerate deployments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, secure code delivery.
- Contribute to cloud cost forecasting and optimization strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our platform.
- Located in the Seattle Metro Region and able to work hybrid onsite at our Bellevue office.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related role.
- Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, including networking and security.
- Experience with Databricks, data lakes, and high‑throughput data architectures is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and virtualization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Knowledge of system security practices, identity/access management, and data encryption.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC
2). - Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
- Healthcare experience, especially with RCM systems, is highly desirable.

- Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $220,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
