Location: This is a hybrid role that requires in‑person work three days a week:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The office is located at: US Bank Plaza, 10800 NE 8th Street, Suite 210, Bellevue, WA 98004.
As a Growth Product Manager for Tool Hive, you’ll lead efforts to amplify developer adoption and make Tool Hive the default platform for building with MCP. The role focuses on driving top‑of‑funnel growth, boosting Git Hub stars, contributor engagement, and downloads by designing scalable, community‑powered growth strategies. You’ll be hands‑on in architecting compounding growth loops, refining onboarding flows, and building programs that welcome developers at every stage of their journey.
This includes working side‑by‑side with engineering, design, marketing, and Dev Rel teammates to launch data‑driven initiatives and champion a seamless developer experience.
You’ll also gather feedback and insights from the open‑source Tool Hive community and translate them into meaningful product improvements. Your impact will be reflected in rising community engagement, improved onboarding metrics, and strong developer advocacy for Tool Hive as the most secure and intuitive way to connect MCP servers.
What Success Looks Like:First 6‑12 months
- Rapid Product & Developer‑Experience Fluency: Within the first 3 months, strong fluency in Tool Hive’s architecture, developer workflows, and onboarding journey has been established, allowing early identification of high‑leverage growth opportunities and adoption friction.
- Culture of Experimentation: Multiple top‑of‑funnel growth experiments have been launched, yielding at least a few high‑impact learnings and measurable improvements.
- Reduced Onboarding Friction: Time‑to‑value is lower for new developers, with key blockers quickly identified and addressed to improve activation rates.
- Accelerated Developer Growth: Tool Hive’s repos and SDKs show clear gains in Git Hub stars, contributors, downloads, and developer signups.
- Community‑Driven Product Improvement: Roadmap and product decisions are meaningfully shaped by insights from Git Hub Issues, community feedback, and analytics.
- Benchmark Tool Hive’s growth against leading OSS and developer tools to identify new opportunities and track progress.
- Monitor and report on key growth funnel metrics, using dashboards and analytics platforms to guide strategy and ongoing improvements.
- Develop and implement data‑driven experiments that increase Git Hub stars, repository activity, downloads, usage, and developer signups for Tool Hive.
- Lead enhancements to developer onboarding, optimizing documentation, quick starts, and tutorials to shorten time‑to‑first‑usage and improve activation/retention rates.
- Collect and translate community developer feedback into features and roadmap priorities.
- Partner closely with engineering, Dev Rel, and marketing to coordinate impactful product launches, events, campaigns, and developer advocacy initiatives.
