SAP BW HANA

Job Description:
Responsible for complex enterprise data reporting and dashboard creation in an SAP BW/4 HANA environment as well as providing support for both onsite and remote business users. Perform technical analysis and software configuration tasks required to fulfill business requirements. Responsible for building and managing BI/Reporting activities working with process, business, and technical teams to define reporting and information requirements.

Job duties:

• Develop SAP Business Warehouse (BW) reports and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and dashboards to meet end-user requirements.
• Collect and understand business reporting and information requirements.
• Understand the “as is” reporting requirements to properly prioritize and streamline the number of reports to be developed.
• Analyze user requirements & business impact and document & design appropriate solutions.
• Facilitate working sessions to define and prioritize required reports and performance metrics.
• Create and manage inventory of required reports and validate with business and corporate leadership.
• Understand the “out of the box” reports in BI and S/4 systems.
• Lead BI reports development, test, and deployment working with process & development teams and providing required validation documentation.
• Participate in design/data working sessions. Coordinate with process teams to ensure that the ERP design will enable reporting requirements.
• Develop weekly status reports and communicate status, risks, and issues.
• Analyze system performance and work with the SAP SAC and BW system administration staff to resolve any issues.
• Responsible for day-to-day user support and troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Enforce and maintain application security following company policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings and assigned projects or tasks by IT management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience with developing reports in an SAP BW environment.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience with developing and maintaining ETL data integrations.
• Proven experience migrating from standard reporting services to data warehouse/business intelligence systems.
• Conversant with the SAP standard BW models and business objects for Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Planning modules.
