Systems Analyst, IT QA Tester / Automation

Capgemini is looking for a QA with hands‑on experience in digital testing to ensure reliable, secure, and seamless retail/restaurant transactions.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web / Digital systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of Web/Digital applications.
- Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards, and back‑office applications.
- Conduct end‑to‑end transaction testing (cash, credit/debit, mobile wallets, discounts, returns, voids, etc.).
- Log defects, track resolution, and perform retesting.
- Support automation of POS test scenarios where applicable.
- Ensure testing aligns with compliance standards.
- Provide detailed test reports and recommend improvements.
- 5+ years of experience in functional digital testing.
- Strong understanding of retail/restaurant transaction flows.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile apps.
- Ability to debug logs using Xcode or Logcat.
- Experience using HTTP Proxy applications such as Charles or Fiddler.
- Experience using ADB, Logcat, Stack Trace, etc.
- Experience with mobile dev tools (Android Studio/Xcode).
- Experience with test/defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Testrail).
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL queries for backend validation).
Base compensation range: $65,200 – $158,550. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction, including geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience and skills, seniority and performance, market and business considerations, and internal pay equity. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
