The Principal Data Scientist will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models and machine learning solutions to address complex business challenges. This role requires expertise in end-to-end model development lifecycle from data to features to modelling to deployment. The position involves mentoring team members, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of data sources and models. • Develop, test, and deploy advanced machine learning models and data-driven solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Analyze complex business problems to identify root causes and recommend effective technology-focused approaches.
• Identify, assess, and validate data sources ensuring quality and relevance for analytical modeling.
• Lead feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and model evaluation to optimize performance and robustness.
• Demonstrate strong thought-leadership and consult with product and business stakeholders to build,scaleand deploy holistic data science products after successful prototyping.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data science strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Mentor team members on advanced modeling techniques, data visualization, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement by integrating emerging machine learning trends and automation tools.

• PhD in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of relevant data science experience or master's degree in related field and 12 years of relevant data science experience.
• Demonstrable experience of architecting large scale ML systems.
• Deep knowledge of and extensive experience in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to develop advanced analytical models.
• Proven experience working withstate-of-the-artagentic, Gen AI,supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on real-world problems, preferably in ecommerce domain.
• Proficiency in Python programming and AWS Sage Maker for scalable model development and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven strategies and measurable outcomes.
