About This RoleThe Clinical Studio Manager (CSM) is a licensed RN or LPN/LVN who combines nursing expertise with retail leadership. The CSM will drive studio performance, uphold our clinical safety standards, inspire a customer‑obsessed culture, and manage a team of Nurse Piercers and Sales Associates.
Key Responsibilities Piercing- Create magical and memorable customer experiences by combining top‑notch clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session.
- Ensure customer safety, comfort, and a smooth flow of care.
- Provide confident, clear, and professional communication with clients throughout the piercing experience.
- Educate customers on aftercare and promote Rowan’s After‑Care products.
- Conduct thorough ear evaluations and offer personalized styling advice.
- Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray.
- Apply expert knowledge of skin care, infection control, and prevention to provide professional and personalized piercing services.
- Create a warm, welcoming, celebratory atmosphere and greet customers.
- Drive customer‑obsessed service on the sales floor, leading by example.
- Help customers and their families choose and style earrings with Rowan jewelry.
- Handle concerns, complaints, and inquiries with professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, safe studio environment at all times.
- Engage with the local community to drive brand awareness, traffic, and appointments.
- Continuously monitor and address customer experience issues to uphold Rowan’s clinical standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop studio staff, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to safety protocols.
- Accountable for meeting studio targets and overall performance, driving revenue growth and fostering a performance‑oriented culture.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects Rowan’s values.
- Schedule staff with the District Manager, manage payroll accuracy, time‑off requests, and staffing issues.
- Recruit for open studio positions.
- Oversee inventory management, POS accuracy, and loss prevention.
- Meet or exceed individual and studio sales targets, increasing LTV and converting piercing customers to jewelry customers.
- Drive sales and profitability through optimized appointments, inventory sell‑through, and effective staffing.
- Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation meet brand guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, especially for ear‑piercing procedures.
- Maintain a neat, clean, organized studio that reflects the brand image.
- Ensure all piercing stations are stocked with necessary supplies and ready for customer needs.
- Maintain sterile jewelry and needle instruments.
- Mentor and train new nurses on clinical and customer standards.
- Train and onboard new staff, ensuring understanding of procedures, safety, and product knowledge.
- Leverage coaching and feedback to develop a diverse studio team.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Prepare and submit studio performance reports, including sales and customer feedback.
- Track expenses, budgets, and financial targets.
- Coordinate with corporate teams on marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license.
- 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a service‑oriented environment. Jewelry experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team.
