- Lead and mentor the Client Service team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily client service operations and ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Manage workload distribution, set priorities, and monitor performance metrics for team members.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Serve as escalation point for complex client issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
- Manage the complete client life cycle for assigned relationships.
- Cultivate & maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues & external partners.
- Prepare and process client onboarding documentation.
- Facilitate money movements, transfers of assets, charitable contributions and RMDs with high level of accuracy.
- Monitor cash & account activity, custodian alerts and confirm completion of submitted requests.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings as necessary, manage follow-up and documentation.
- Monitor external alternative investments; complete subscription agreements, process & track capital calls/distributions.
- Provide quarterly overview of billing calculations using provided comparisons.
- Proactively communicate with and anticipate the unique needs of your clients.
- Create & maintain formula-based analytics using Excel.
- Manage special projects and life events based on client requests.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated success in change management initiatives and driving organizational transformation
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (high level of competency in Excel)
- Strong decision making-skills and ability to handle escalated client issues effectively.
