Compensation: $76,000 - $85,000

* Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.

Summary

MOD Pizza is looking for someone with a deep passion for content and community to lead our organic social media strategy and implementation. This person will champion and grow the MOD brand by engaging daily with our audience and creating innovative social content and campaigns that move the brand forward and drive traffic. The ideal candidate has experience managing social media for a brand or agency and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic environment.

This person is a digital native, exhibiting strong creative judgement and point of view on social media marketing strategy in the restaurant/hospitality/retail segment. They know the ins and outs of all the major social platforms and how to set up and maintain its framework to support a national, multi-unit and shared company/franchised system. This person knows the latest trends, pop culture milestones and, most importantly, exhibits the judgement to know how or even if MOD should leverage these moments.

This person will exhibit the MOD brand through voice and engagement approach – both online and in our restaurants and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a social media content plan as integrated within the brand Marketing Communications calendar, balancing multiple content priorities across channels for both high-priority marketing campaigns and unplanned (reactive) social content.
  • Can conduct a thorough assessment of existing social footprint and tools, identify opportunities to improve performance and security for a blended company and franchise system.
  • Has experience and ability to set a localized strategy with localized execution
  • Organically create or field design requests timely organic social content to engage the MOD social media audience for platforms such as Meta, You Tube and internal channels for MOD Squad
  • Develop strategy and provide direction/feedback on social content to creative team for marketing campaigns.
  • Support storyboard, ad-hoc creation support and management of social video content across You Tube shorts, reels, and other emerging video-first social platforms.
  • Oversee daily community management of social media channels, including responding to questions or comments, engaging with our audiences, and passing along issues to the customer support team as needed.
  • Own organic social promotional details - contests, sweepstakes, stunts, influencer/talent engagement
  • Evolve and maintain and influencer strategy including campaign support, growing database, strategic engagement, compensation (food, MOD currency, contracts as needed)
  • Stay up to date on social platform changes, new features, industry trends, competitors, and other opportunities for the MOD brand to stay relevant in the social space.
  • Own reporting analytics and key insights to inform strategy and collaborate with FPA and other support functions.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a social media and creative roles
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strategic communication by channel with appropriate tonality by audience.
