American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a NICU position requiring a WA or compact RN license and prior NICU experience with Epic charting.

• Work in a NICU III/IV unit caring for neonates as young as 24-28 weeks gestation
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours), 18:45-07:15
• Floating to Childbirth Center units required based on patient care needs
• Care involves ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), IV therapy, arterial and central/umbilical line management, and administration of vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
• Manages feeding support including bottle, breast, and gavage feedings, and oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tube placement
• Monitors for dysrhythmias, infectious disease precautions, and neonatal abstinence syndrome

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required

• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, with no blocked schedules accepted
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and cannot be modified afterward
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours
