Wage details:
Washington State minimum wage applies as the base hourly rate and tips may be earned through the company tip pool. Tip distributions vary; the typical tip range is $2.00 to $15.00 per hour.
- Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards.
- Utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure quick, precise preparation of menu items; wash, chop, cut, grill, roast, sauté, fry, etc.; coordinate with other stations.
- Develop knife skills for efficiency and safety.
- Communicate with the team to deliver coordinated food service.
- Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
- Clean and organize refrigerators, coolers, ovens, prep and dry storage areas, etc.
- Complete assigned side work and closing duties; stock, clean, and organize line stations.
- Follow all safety instructions for kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds; report equipment issues promptly.
- Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.
- 1-3+ years culinary experience (high potential candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply).
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
- Passion for hospitality with a track record of creating quality guest experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
