RStore - SEA-BELLEVUE, WAPlan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our store and find what they’re looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed to deliver our Brand Promises.
** Event Coordination
*** Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
* Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
* Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
* Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
* Communicate events with clients and store team members.
* Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
* Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs.
* Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
* Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
* Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
** Customer Experience
*** Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
* Provide fast and friendly check out experience.
* Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
* Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
* Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
* Participate in the truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes.
* Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
* Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
* Support shrink and safety programs
* Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
* Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
* Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
* Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including (but not limited to) sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms
