Reporting to the Produce Department Head (or his/her delegates), the Produce Cooler Keeper is responsible to manage produce storage area, including coolers. The position also needs to provide good customer service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, maintain inventory and workplace cleanliness. T&T Supermarkets is marking over 30 years as Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced the first store location in the United States.

Our growth into the US offers great opportunities within our first US flagship store, set to open in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington in the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and will stand as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state. We have additional plans for growth and will also be establishing a regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to grow T&T Supermarket’s vendor base with American food suppliers.

You Will

• Manage the receiving of products, conduct quality inspection and placing products to the store
• Maintain inventory and product quality; follow FIFO concept; and ensure proper display of various products
• Sort, pack, and label various produce products and put them in the storage & promotion coolers
• Maintain storage area cleanliness, wash and maintain relevant work tools are clean and well-kept
• Keep warehouse, display and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
• Follow procedures to process produce inventory control reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

• Complete secondary education and above
• Be prepared to stand long time and to hands on dealing with products and lifting of products of 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Be prepared to work in low temperature (0-4 ℃) environment regularly
• Knowledge of basic work safety
• Not allergic in handling produce products
• Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred
• Friendly and have a passion to serve our customers
• Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
