• Deliver an impeccable store experience by building relationships with customers and applying the CHEF’STORE Way training.
• Perform sales and cash functions efficiently in the POS, including scanning merchandise, weighing product, and ensuring accurate barcode reflection. Report discrepancies to the Front End Lead or Manager of Day.
• Transfer items at checkout, inspecting for tampering and verifying cart content versus purchases.
• Assist with store opening and closing functions at the front end.
• Support sales floor activities: increase sales focus, manage shrinkage, assist customers, and perform inventory receipts and stocking in meat, frozen, produce, dairy, dry goods, and culinary equipment departments.
• Maintain merchandise labeling, applying catch‑weight and PLU tags as required.
• Replenish sales floor daily, using FIFO and pallet jack equipment, ensuring neat stock presentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and proprietary store software as needed.
• Carry out opening, closing, inventory, and cycle count duties as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness of sales floor, front end, parking lot, and store entry area, gathering carts and keeping parking corrals operable.
• Follow safety policies, reporting any issues to store management.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Store Management.

• Minimum 6–12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Preferred one year retail selling and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, logical thinking, basic math aptitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, self‑driven, able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in a team.
• Flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency with general office equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
