Business Travel & NBD Sales Manager- Hilton Bellevue
Full Time Bellevue, WA, US
Salary Range: $33.00 To $38.00 Hourly
Hilton Bellevue is currently searching for a Business Travel and New Business Development
Sales Manager to represent the hotel in the development of our business travel market segment. As a business travel sales manager, you will develop new customer relationships and maintain existing relationships with assigned accounts while consistently striving to maximize room revenue.
Responsibilities Include:
- Travel primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences, and make sales proposals and presentations
- Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
- Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
- Represent hotel by soliciting, responding to, and negotiating business travel rates on contracts
- Negotiate contracts with customers and commission agreements with third party agencies
- Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers in local and national assigned markets
- Promote negotiated rates to all accounts.
- Work closely with revenue management team with the preparations of proposals and contracts to all prospective customers
- Attend weekly sales departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations
- Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients
- Initiate new sales prospects, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients
- Conduct property site visits and answer questions
- Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business
- Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
Qualifications Include:
- 1+ years hotel sales experience required.
- 1+ year of hotel business travel experience preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve independently.
- A solid understanding of overall hotel operations.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to use several different computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Delphi.
