Sr. Inside Sales Representative​/Product Marketing

Westmark Electronics is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our outside sales team, customers, distribution partners, and manufacturers.

This position plays an important role in growing sales within the territory by supporting existing customers, following up on quotations and samples, coordinating with our manufacturers and distributors, and assisting the field sales teams opportunities through design-in and production.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys communicating with customers, distributors, and manufacturer sales and product teams.

• Support Westmark's Account Managers with day-to-day customer activity.
• Work with manufacturer factories and product managers to obtain pricing, technical information, lead times, and application support.
• Work closely with authorized distribution partners to coordinate pricing, inventory, forecasts, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, design-in, and design-win information within manufacturer CRM reporting systems.
• Track business that goes outside of our territory and file splits to capture commission revenue.
• Help identify end customers for contract manufactures sales and capture this in our Power BI system.
• Coordinate sample requests, evaluation boards, literature, and technical documentation.
• Monitor open orders, backlog, delivery issues, and customer requirements when necessary.
• Assist with manufacturer sales reports, forecasts, opportunity updates, and territory reviews.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, samples, availability, lead times, and technical information.
• Develop a working knowledge of Westmark's represented product lines.

• 2+ years of electronics industry inside sales, customer service, sales support, distribution, or related experience preferred.
• Electronics, semiconductor, electromechanical, or electronic-component industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with engineering, purchasing, supply-chain, and management personnel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer and manufacturer requests simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and CRM systems.
• Self-motivated and comfortable proactively contacting customers and prospects.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Electronic components, semiconductor manufacturers, electronic component distribution, manufacturers' representatives, OEM customers, EMS/contract manufacturers, design engineers, purchasing organizations, CRM/opportunity management, and technical sales organizations.

By handling customer follow-up, opportunity tracking, quoting, sample coordination, manufacturer communication, this position allows Field Sales Engineers and Strategic Account Managers to spend more time in front of customers while ensuring opportunities are consistently followed through to completion.
