Job Summary:
This is a Safety-Sensitive Position. We are seeking a professional Security Flex Specialist to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment by protecting our premises, assets, and employees, and preventing illegal or inappropriate activities. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with high integrity. Job site locations include Seattle, Burien, Lynnwood, Kirkland, and throughout the Puget Sound region.
Requires working weekends and holidays, with potential overtime and unscheduled shifts. The Flex Specialist will be dispatched to urgent security jobs, fire watches, and fill in for vacant posts. This is a full-time position with over 40 hours per week, paying $24.00/hour, including holiday pay and performance rewards.
Responsibilities:
Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility.Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility.Remove trespassers when necessary.Monitor surveillance cameras.Respond to reports of suspicious activity.Report on daily activities and security incidents.Arrive on time for every shift.Fill in for vacant shifts and work at various locations as needed.Handle last-minute jobs as assigned.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Security Guard or similar role preferred.Valid security officer registration.High school diploma or GED.Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures.Excellent written communication and report writing skills.Ability to operate surveillance equipment.High integrity and professionalism.Attention to detail and strong observational skills.Ability to work independently without supervision.Legal right to work in the USA.Drug-free and no criminal record.Licensed, insured, reliable, with a vehicle suitable for all weather conditions.Valid driver’s license.Physically capable of walking, standing, sitting for long periods, and able to lift, pull, push, grasp, twist, and climb stairs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
