What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss-prevention concerns, and facility issues, and report observations to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
Document incidents, patrols, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
