Position: Journeyman Electricians (EL 06)

Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a Journeyman O6 Electrician to join our growing team. As a Journeyman, you will be involved in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of commercial building automation systems. This position requires a good working knowledge of basic electronic theory and Building Electrical / Mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
Installs, wires, BMS and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of installations.Repairs and maintains low voltage systems (under 120V).Assists in delivering BAS solutions to our customer base within the Construction/Operation Department.Assists with site commissioning, point-to-point verifications, troubleshooting, and startup of various Building Automation Systems.Appropriately handles and is familiar with all testing and electrical repair tools and equipment.Performs tasks with minimum supervision and in accordance with Ainsworth Health & Safety policies and procedures.Adheres to all company policies and procedures.Performs all job functions safely, abiding by all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental policies and regulations.Adheres to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.Performs other duties as assigned by Management.Understands fundamentals of HVAC systems in commercial buildings.Works with and understands HVAC and Digital Control fundamentals.Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license.Fluent in English – both written and oral.Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and product documentation.Medium physical duties, including standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and working at heights.Good knowledge of the electrical trade and the Washington State Electrical Code.Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire.Compensation and Benefits:
The wage is $41.86 per hour, with 80 hours of vacation, 40 hours of PTO, and 40 hours of stat holidays.
