Job ObjectiveSupport the installation, commissioning, and validation of new E-Suite equipment on Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs). The role includes executing routine and functional tests, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting field validation campaigns, and providing warranty support for vehicles in service.
Key Responsibilities- Remove OEM equipment and prepare vehicles for new E-Suite installation.
- Install electrical panels, harnesses, and E-Suite components following engineering drawings and schematics.
- Perform wiring, cable preparation, crimping, and connector assembly.
- Execute commissioning and validation tests according to approved procedures.
- Record, analyze, and report test results, document any anomalies or non-conformities.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support field validation campaigns and functional testing at customer sites.
- Provide technical assistance during warranty activities and vehicle support operations.
- Follow all company safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager related to project execution.
Technical Skills (Mandatory):
- Skilled in the use of multimeters, meggers, hi-pots, and other electrical test instruments.
- Strong capability using hand tools, crimpers, and electrical assembly equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting faulty circuits and electrical systems.
- Experience using power tools and machinery in an industrial environment.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Electronics preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, testing, or commissioning (rail, automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment preferred).
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, which includes 12
VDC–72
VDC. - Familiarity with vehicle or equipment control systems and interfaces.
- Good knowledge of schematics, wire lists, and functional diagrams.
- Work performed primarily in a rail depot and heavy industrial environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors when required.
- Kneeing, bending, working in tight spaces, hot, humid, wet, and cold environments.
- Must be flexible with shifts, overtime, and occasional weekend work based on project needs.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and passport (to travel internationally.
- International travel may be required for an extended period of time.
- Salary Range $22.40 ~ $36.80/hour
