Software Engineer, Display Calibration; MR

About the Team

The WFOS (Warfighter OS) Display Software and Calibration team at Anduril develops display pipeline software, firmware, and calibration systems for our AR/VR products. We focus on developing a software platform that delivers app graphics and sensor feeds to display hardware, solving complex technical challenges to achieve exceptional image quality with minimal latency. Our team works collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver the next generation of display technology in an exciting new project.

We're seeking engineers who are passionate about solving advanced display technology problems with meaningful applications in the defense sector.

• Design and develop algorithms and production software for photometric display calibration of AR/VR displays
• Design and develop on-device APIs and tools to facilitate display calibration
• Diagnose and resolve display calibration issues in the production environment, working with internal teams and manufacturing partners to implement fixes

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
• 8+ years of professional experience with C/C++
• Experience in computer vision and image processing
• Excellent communication skills for working across hardware and software teams
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

• Proficiency in Python and Matlab
• Experience in embedded systems, AR/VR devices, light measurement instruments, camera optics, robot and stage motion control, and common communication protocols
• Experience in device manufacturing stations
• Experience in electronic color display and display metrology

US Salary Range: 191,000 — 253,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
