The ideal candidate is willing to work across disciplines and departments and is willing to design and scale architectures from the ground up. You should be prepared to wear many hats while learning new frameworks and technologies quickly to build high-quality products at scale.

Beyond engineering work, as one of our early employees you’ll be part of defining our company culture, values and style. Our current team is small but highly energetic, and excited to dig into big scary problems.

• Design, build, and scale out services. This includes the cloud infrastructure, database design, service architecture, and performance.
• Take ownership of products and features beyond just the engineering side of things, focusing on the end customer experience and value.
• Work with a talented group of engineers to change the way private information is shared.

• 2+ years backend development
• BS in computer science or equivalent experience
• Languages:
  
  Python, C#, Java, or other equivalent OO programming language
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Cloud Formation, ARM, Terraform, or equivalent technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other equivalent cloud providers
• Experience building services and deploying them at scale
• Experience designing scalable storage schemas, including Relational DBs, No
  
  SQL, Blobs, and Search
• Experience in designing RBAC and security into services and technical architecture
