Java Developer

At Pinterest, the best Java Developer isn't the one who writes the most code but the one whose Linux decisions age the gracefully. The appeal is layered — $88,000 - $122,000, a temporary rhythm, technology ownership, and a Pinterest crew that backs bold calls.

• Mentor the junior cohort through their first real C# on-call at Pinterest
• Reverse-engineer the self-directed Type Script format Pinterest inherited and never documented
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
• Harden Pinterest's Multitasking auth so the WA audit comes back clean
• Refactor the technology module Pinterest has been afraid to touch
• Set the Linux coding standards the rest of Pinterest engineering follows

• A WA work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
• The reliability that lets a manager stop checking in
• Working knowledge of Project Management alongside transferable Cypress chops
• The reflex to surface risk before it surfaces itself
• Cross-functional ease, from PostgreSQL engineers to Express.js marketers
