Overview
The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below.
Responsibilities- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
CommunicationAbility to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Exposures vary; in-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some areas. Outside tasks may involve adverse weather. Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Hearing, Vision & TemperamentsTalking and hearing on telephone. Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical DemandsSTANDING:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position; typical work surfaces are 36–48 inches high. WALKING:
Short distances; SITTING:
Office paperwork at a desk. LIFTING:
Deliveries may weigh up to 50 pounds (cases up to 3' x 1.5'). CARRYING:
Carrying items up to several pounds for short distances. PUSHING/PULLING:
Move trays on dollies; may push up to ~7.5 pounds of force. CLIMBING:
Rarely navigate stairs or ladders for price changes or maintenance. STOOPING/BENDING:
Repeated bending at the waist CHING:
Reaching above 72 inches; handling toppings and cleaning surfaces. HAND TASKS:
Frequent use of hands, dough shaping, pizza peel handling, and assembling boxes. MACHINES/EQUIPMENT:
Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel, etc.

Additional Information
Pay range: $20.29 – $28 per hour.
Driver Responsibilities- Deliver product by car to customers; deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Requires valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to insured vehicle for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- CARRYING:
Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking/climbing requirements apply. - WALKING:
Travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations. - CLIMBING:
May require navigating five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Exposure to varying weather conditions during delivery, driving, and couponing. Far vision and night vision required for driving.
