Pay: $80,000.00 - $ per year
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Bellingham, MA office and the surrounding job sites.
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of heavy civil construction experience and hands‑on estimating experience using B2W/Agtek (or similar).

Our client is a well-established heavy civil construction company specializing in sitework, utilities, earthwork, paving, and roadwork projects across Massachusetts. With a reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects safely and efficiently, they are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to oversee projects from bid through completion.
Job Description
- Manage all phases of heavy civil projects, including sitework, utilities, paving, and drainage
- Lead the estimating process: prepare final estimates, perform detailed quantity take‑offs, and analyze bid documents
- Coordinate bidding activities and attend pre‑bid meetings with clients and subcontractors
- Evaluate subcontractor quotes and perform cost comparison analysis (subcontractor vs. self‑perform)
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and manpower plans
- Review contracts, change orders, and invoicing for accuracy and compliance
- Communicate with clients, engineers, and vendors regarding project requirements and clarifications
- Supervise and motivate project staff, providing guidance to ensure safe, timely, and cost‑effective project execution
- Conduct project inspections and oversee quality control throughout all phases
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (site/roadwork, utilities, paving, drainage)
- Strong estimating experience with B2W Estimate, B2W Track, AGTEK, or similar software
- Construction‑related degree or equivalent field operations background
- Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure projects and construction methods
- Excellent math, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Proven leadership experience managing staff and subcontractors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain) and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a CORI background check and pre‑hire drug/alcohol testing
